The Australasian Green Infrastructure Network (AGIN) is committed to protecting your privacy. Any personal information collected, handled, stored or disclosed about you through our services shall be managed in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act 1988.

This collection notice applies to you when you enter your details to register as a member of AGIN and will detail how your personal information will be collected and handled. We only collect, use and handle personal information when it is necessary for us to facilitate our obligations under our constitution. Your decision to provide your personal information is optional. You don’t have to give us the information we ask you to provide, and we respect your choice to not join as a member if you do not wish to provide this information.

The information you provide will be used to allow us to:

• Register you or your company as a member
• Contact you to confirm or clarify any details you have provided if/as required
• Contact you to confirm your member registration once it has been processed
• Provide you with your membership benefits

Information collected through the member registration process may be shared with officers of AGIN who need access to perform their duties or to other authorised third-party service providers who will assist us by performing functions or activities on our behalf. We may also disclose your information when we are authorised or required to do so by law.
